Washington State's Senate Bill 5511 recognizes access to broadband as an essential service for residents. Residents rely on broadband for access to health care, education, and other health and safety services. Under this 2019 piece of legislation, three state agencies are working to provide all Washington residents with access to affordable broadband.

You can help! Take the speed test on the Washington State Department of Commerce website HERE.

Survey results will be used to map speeds statewide and help inform the State on which areas to focus on.
