Reopening Schools: Information & Updates

As our district plans for the start of the 2020-21 school year, we will continue to keep our staff, families, and community members informed. While there are still many uncertainties regarding what the upcoming school year will look like, our district has been hard at work this summer to plan and prepare for a safe return to school in the fall.

This Royal Reopening Schools webpage serves as a hub for updates related to the reopening of our schools for the 2020-2021 school year. Here, you will find news and updates on potential school schedule changes, cleaning protocols in our buildings, health and safety measures, meal service procedures, and how we plan to provide students with access to instruction and technology. It also includes information on athletics and activities, along with answers to frequently asked questions.

The situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to evolve as new research and requirements come our way. As the school year progresses, other dates in our 2020-2021 district calendar may need to be adjusted based on unforeseen closures that impact our statutory instructional hours and days. We will continue to keep staff and families updated with any changes. Please continue to visit this page for updates as our plans take shape.
